Ah ah! It all depends on what YOU like to do. Some people will mix powder with milk, some others with ice-cream & milk, some with milk & ice only!!!

As a rule of thumb, we recommend using up to 2 table spoons of milkshake powder (depending on the size of your glass and how thick your want the shake to be), mixed up with full fat milk and perhaps a little ice. No real need for ice-cream when using milkshake powder, as the flavour and texture is already there. What you need to focus on is getting the drink very cold. That’s your priority.
